Welcοme to the Digital Signal and Image Processing Laboratory (DISPLAY) of Technical University of Crete.
Research activities of the Display lab are related to the acquisition, processing, analysis and transmission of signals, images and video, in applications concerning fault or disease diagnosis. Activities are distributed in three application areas that involve bioengineering, industry and telecommunications.
The laboratory supports the educational needs of Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering in Technical University of Crete to both undergraduate and postgraduate level. At the same time, the DISPLAY lab is focused in research activities that mainly concern issues of Digital Signal and Image processing, of real-time systems for video transmission via network, of Pattern Recognition and biomedical applications.
